Imagine a world where women lifted each other up instead of tearing each other down. A world where women cheered each other on to the finish line instead of convincing each other they’ll never make it. A world where women could be open and honest with other women to find support instead of keeping quiet in fear of judgement and criticism. A world where women wiped away each other’s tears instead of creating them. A world where everything about a woman’s body was celebrated and embraced by other women instead of belittled and chastised. A world where a woman’s success was fueled by the support of other women instead of having to find victory on her own.

We believe in that world. We want to be a part of that world.

Sisterhood may be hard to come by these days, but we believe it plays a huge role in living a happy life. There will always be the good and the bad in life. The best part of living is to have your team to celebrate with you in the good times and to lift you up when life gets tough.

Women who support each other get to reap all of the benefits of that world. They surround themselves with people who motivate, inspire, and lift others up, and they do the same in return. They understand that every woman was uniquely and individually made, and because of that, everyone has something to offer.

Women who support each other are confident, secure, loyal, inspirational, ambitious, and passionate. They are also masters at not wasting their time with people who are not going to add value to their lives.

Here are twelve types of people women who support other women don’t have time for.

Gossiper

There is nothing positive that comes from women spreading rumors about other women. Gossipers are people who get caught up in other’s lives to avoid their own misery. Women who support other women don’t have time for that.

Rude

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Supportive women understand that it takes more energy to be rude to someone than it does to be polite.

Judgmental

Never judge another woman unless you have walked a day in her shoes. People respond to situations based on where they are at in their life at that moment and confident women don’t see the need to tell other people how to live.

Excuses

Excuses waste the time of the person who makes them and the person who believes them. Supportive women are open, honest, and accountable to their actions and behaviors.

Selfish

Selfishness is for people who want to live a lonely life and have to figure everything out on their own. Women who support each other fill each other’s cups.

Drama Queen

People who crave drama wreak havoc on other’s lives. Inspirational women spend their time promoting a constructive environment for other women.

Lazy

Laziness is a place where goals and dreams become a long distant memory. Empowering women are ambitious and driven, they are not going to be held back by someone who has no desire for greatness.

Negative

You cannot live a positive life with negative people in it. Negativity will only drag you down. Women who support other women do so through encouragement and lifting them up.

Critic

People who have cynical things to say about other people are only wasting time worried about everyone else’s yard while their’s is drying up. Secure women water their own grass.

Thoughtless

Respect must be earned, and disregard for other’s time and feelings will never get you there. Women who support other women understand that simple consideration for others opens new doors and paves ways for new opportunities.

Bully

There is no bigger loser than the person who takes time out of her day to put down someone else. Supportive women compliment and praise each other.

Hater

Insecure people don’t like it when other people are doing better than them. Confident women support other women through their success and foster a community to help other women become more successful.

This world is a big place with a lot of people who are going to try to throw you off course. Women who support other women are stronger, braver, and more courageous. They already have an advantage over other people to come out winning.

Cheers,

Sarah and Samantha
